We spent a few days hanging out with the Johnson family (Shannon, David, David II, Jessie & Lindsey) before they had to go back to school. That was a lot of fun - we even visited Shannon's classroom to see where she teaches, found a turtle and took a dip in Aunt Shannon & Uncle David's whirlpool bath tub - it was quite an adventure!
The weekend of August 18th we (Michael & Tammy) went to the Dowell House http://www.dowellhouse.com/ for an overnight stay to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Shannon, Jessie & Lindsey graciously came to our house & spent the 2 days with our boys. While in McKinney, we browsed the antique shops, ate homemade ice cream at a real soda fountain, ate tapas at Cafe Malaga http://www.cafemalaga.com/ and soaked in our jacuzzi on our private patio. It was a great weekend!!! 
We spent 6 days in Memphis this past week. We had the best time! The kids were all sad to
part - which in my book means things went really really well!!! :0) Thanks a ton to the Hamiltons for letting us invade their home & life for the week!

Memphis has a great zoo - pandas, white tiger, polar bears and more.

Those are great! I might have to steal a couple for my blog! First of all...I got nauseous just looking at that "tire" swing. I guess they aren't making them out of tires these days? And second...I can't believe all those people defiled Elvis' front gate! That is pretty rude, dude! Emily and Eliana are TOOO cute!
