Unpolitically Correct

Yesterday we went to vote (Tammy, Connor, Cayden & Miranda) at our local polling location. We walked in and to my utter amazement the line for the democratic primary was out the door. The line for the Republican primary didn't even have a line - guess McCain had it tied up already. Being a wise shopper, we choose the shortest line - yeah, we would have voted Republican even if the line had been longer. Oc ourse, we might not have voted straight ticket if that was an option in Texas - we're all for strategic voting too!!!!! Use your vote wisely - it really does count!

While the voting official was looking for Tammy's name on the Republican roster, Connor asks "Mom, are we Democratcs or Republicans?" Not wanting to sway his ideals, mom replied "You can be whatever you choose." Connor replies "Well, I'm a Democrat." The voting official says "You'll have to go to the other line then son." Then we all had a big laugh.
