OUCH!

Guess what we did last night??????........!!!!!!! Spent a few hours in the Baylor emergency room! Not your favorite night spot unless you're homeless and looking for a warm dry place to hang.

Michael went out to the car to look for the ever elusive "Lovie" and smacked himself in the face with the car door. He was wearing his glasses - yes they are made from polycarbonate shatter proof glass - the left lens broke and cut his eyeball. Ahhhhhhhhhh! He came in the house with that scary eye, we called GG to babysit, hopped right in the trusy ole Honda & drove through the dark and stormy night to the hospital.

There was a piece of glass lodged under his eyelid - thought I (Tammy) would pass out when they got that out. The doctor then dyed his eye with some yellow higlighter substance and put him under a black light. Well, there is a scratch on his cornea and big red blood splotch on his eye but he is going to be okay.

We shot through that emergency room in record time - about 3 hours! Michael was sent home with a prescription for antibotic eye drops, pain pills and a note to see a specialist. Never a dull moments around house. :0)

Oh yeah, on our way out the door Cayden decided to throw up all over the place. My very kind mother-in-law cleaned that mess up! Double thanks & love to her!!!!!! Maybe, just maybe, Cayden will quit eating vegetable bullion cubes now.
