The path to our backyard was a barren waste land of dust when we bought the house but, it is shaping up! I love to walk back there now
We decided to let the few remaining artichokes flower & go to seed. They are unbelievable. I'll check back in a few days to see if they flower even more. Wow!
We do have some vegetables going - a few tomato plants here and there, a few watermelons, some squash, and soybeans. The flowers were outshing the vegetable plants. I'll post about our food crops another day :0)

OMG, that artichoke flower is gorgeous! As is the whole yard! Remind me next time I'm there to look at your backyard.
I love that path. I try to stroll down it everytime I am there and everytime I find something new.
