Watermelons Schmatermelons!
I (Tammy) am officially giving up on growing watermelons! I checked my vine last week & was so excited to see 2 small watermelons buds - they looked liked overgrown peas. Then, I went to water the vine and marvel at my baby watermelons but they'r enow brown & shriveled. They resemble raisins. Crud!!!!! This is the 3rd year I've tried. I've tried different spots around our yard, I've tried plants, I've tried seeds........nothing works for me except buying them at the grocery store.

Hmmm, ours finally took off a few weeks ago, and we have three ready to pick and take to Ray Roberts this weekend. We are doing Sugar Babies this year. I'll letcha know if they're tasty!
Haha - Amber can grown them and Tammy can't! Just kidding...those stupid watermelons!! And I think those square ones are cool!
