Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! So, yesterday afternoon we had to take Connor to the emergency room. He was feverish, complaining of a bad headache and didn't want to move AT ALL! He was still lucid but was very grumpy. He had gotten dehyrated. When he got home last Thursday he was nauseated & he threw up sometimes - that made him not want to drink or eat. The past few days it had gotten to where we were forcing him to eat a few bites and he wasn't wanting to drink ANYTHING!
When we got to the ER his surgeon - wonderful Dr. Peters at Medical City - met us there and took a look at Connor. He was worried about infection but once he got a good look at our guy he said it looked like dehydration. The ER doc ordered basic labs, IV fluids and a CT Scan. Connor's labs showed dehyration so they pumped him full of 2 bags of fluid real quick like.
So, we're back home and Connor has awoken this morning with just a small nagging headache! Praise God! Thanks everyone for your prayers yesterday!!! I'm now making sure he drinks a cup of fluid each hour. He's still a bit pissy this morning but that's okay. Mom can handle it! :0)

Oh no - being dehydrated stinks. I was in the hospital with that when I was little. Hope Connor is up and feeling better soon.
Man, he doesn't look too happy on that couch, there. Thanks goodness there wasn't a more serious issue. Keep on drinking on!
