Valentine's Weekend

Ours was fabulous! How was yours??? We did lots of fun things, here's the run down:

Friday night: Michael bought tickets for the Dallas Symphony - Valentines Pops. I buy the really really cheap tickets but he bought the really good ones - he's a good date! We got all dolled up, actually left the boys with a babysitter & we a real date! The symphony was so much fun! There was a guest conductor & a vocalist-both were good. I think it was the most enjoyable symphony I have been to.

Saturday: Our local library had a valentine's craft day instead of the normal storytime. The boys made several Valentine crafts & had big fun! We love our library.

We also took Kali to PetCo to have a Valentine picture made. Turned out fairly cute. The boys were tickled and Kali came home with a new Valentine's bandana.

We exchanged Valentine's cards & candies. The guys got me a pot of tulips. Dang, they're pretty. I'm going to plant them in the back yard & hope that they come up again next year! Do you think if I plant some of the chocolates I might grown a chocolate plant too? OOOOHHHHH how I wish!
Sunday: In honor of Valentine's weekend we made a cheesecake. Yummmmmmo! We followed the directions on the inside of the Philadelphia Cream Cheese box and it came otu beautifully. We topped it with cherry pie filling and we're still eating it a week later. It was one BIG cheesecake.

How sweet! Nice weekend! We didn't celebrate. Kinda snuck up on us and we couldn't think of anything we really wanted to get out and do. But it also kinda takes a back seat with our anniversary later this month. Happy Belated Valentines Day, sweetie peetie!

Mine was simply fab also. I had personal hand delivered valentines with a piece of candy from two of the sweetest little boys. Best of all was the sweet hugs I got. Could any Valentine day be better?
