Track meets

Ever been in a track meet? Not me. Ever been to a track meet? We have. A few weeks ago our neice & nephew were in a varsity track meet. The level of the athletes was amazing.

Have I ever said what amazing people our Johnson neices and nephew are? I know I have but they are really cool peeps. They are excelent athletes on top of everything. We haven't seen Lindsey in action at a track meet yet but she is doing shot put, high jump, and relay races. Good stuff.

Jessie is fabulous at pole vautling - her personal record is over 10 feet! The girl runs and jumps hurdles too.

David throws a mean shot put & discus. Not sure how far he throws but it was FAR!!!!! He won in the discus throw and was 2nd in the shot put. Very cool.

Those shot puts are heavy. Connor thought he would get in on the action, but alas, he couldn't even lift it off the ground.
