possible drug treatment for meningioma

Remeber way back when Connor had his 1st brain surgery to remove the meningioma from the front of his brain? The doctors did that because they weren't sure at the time why Connor even had the meningioma. Of course, as you all know, he has since been diagnosed with NF2. Well, check this out, there might, one day, be a drug treatment for meningiomas. Wow! What an awsome thought. If you came to visit Connor in the hospital you know how huge that would be. The surgery was huge!!!! I mean huge! If it could have been, or in case there is regrowth....can be treatment with a drug, I am elated! The drug is not even in the mouse trial stage yet but hopefully soon..............

Oh please, craniotomies are no big deal!

Bad joke...that's incredible news. Your brain isn't meant to be poked and prodded, not to mention what they have to do just to get in there. I'm so glad Connor's went OK and that other people will have more options in the future.
