Artsy Fartsy Part II

We've been honing our art skills this week. Kids can have such fun creating a masterpeice all their own. Each has their own special take on art & its really cool to watch them express themselves & their interests.

I adore these pieces of art & love the artists!!!!!

We all made sand art. Connor's is the tallest, next is Miranda's, then mine, and last in line is Cayden's creation.

Connor built this birdhouse from a kit. The next day he painted it. We're going to hang it outside & some lucky bird will have a new home!

Cayden created a colorful tank sun catcher.

Miranda made a colorful sun catcher with crayon shavings. After she mixed the crayon colors, I used a warm iron to melt them in between wax paper - very cool project!

Connor & Cayden are totally in to Pokemon these days. They have decided to host a pokemon party here at our house - next week. Connor made a poster for the door, complete with pokemon drawings. In case you don't know, the yellow one is Pikachu & the pink one is Jiggly Puff.
