We took a short jump over to Cedar Hill State Park for a weekend camping trip over spring break. We had an awesome time. The park is beautiful & there is so much to see & explore. I love family camping trips. We just hang out, explore nature & spend time together.
We took Kail. Its been awhile since her last camping trip - maybe 6 months or more???...??? Who would've thought she would be a big ole scardy cat??? Our 110 lb giant, feirce looking, dog wouldn't sleep on her own blanket - she crawled right up in the middle of our air mattress. WHAT? Next time, when it isn't so cold & we aren't glad for the extra heat, she is definately sleeping somewhere else & maybe even outside the tent!
Connor got busy, right away. A surveillance system is what every respectable camp site needs.
Penn Farm, in the park, is a nice place to explore. Lots of historical stuff, old farm equipment, and space to run. The wild flowers were gorgeous. I think we'll go back when the bluebonnets begin to bloom.

Connor picked this boquet. Sweetest, most beautiful flowers ever!

That looked like sooooo much fun, except for sleeping with Kali. I got a real kick out of the surveillence system. You need to frame the pics with you and Michael and the boys sitting in the field with a barn in the background. Those are priceless. No prejudice here!!
Wow that looked really pretty! Good job, Campers!
