Connor is scheduled to have his 3rd Avastin infusion this week. We're hoping the medication will shrink the tumor behind his right eye & the meningioma (tumor) in the middle frontal lobe area.
He is handling the infusions really well - not many sid eeffects. While he is in the infusion area, he is treated like a little prince. He enjots the treatment there & is not nervous about going - I believe it is all the smiles, snacks, movies, prizes, crafts and games they provide for the kids. Children's Dallas is an awesome place for kid's medical care.
Cayden went with us last time & even though it takes most of the day - he was so well behaved & joined in with everything - snacks, crafts & movies!
All of this seems to be a lot hard on us adults - that's okay - I wouldn't want it any other way & if I could only step in Connor's place with NF2, I would do in a heartbeat!

Hi Guys, It seems that you all are having a good time, except Mama. Connor is a very brave boy and Cayden is a good supportive brother. Mama is a very special lady and the best Mama two boys I love could have. You are in my prayers many times throughtout the day. Hugs & kisses
OMG, that last picture is too funny! Was it supposed to be a somber poignant moment and I am ripping all over it?!
GO CONNOR! I am so relieved to hear how it's going. I hate to ask you about it cause it seems like we'd be talking about it all the time. LOve you all very much.
Thanks for sharing this experience with us. I too would trade places with Connor if it was at all possible. We'll just have to keep on loving him well.
It looks like they were both set up with a lot of treats to take their minds off of things. I hope everything went well!
