My Birthday - this Sunday November 28th

This Sunday I will turn 38 years old. With all that has been given to me this year, I would like to ask everyone to give to others in honor of my blessed year.

This prize closet has helped Connor make it through several treatments. To be able to promise the kids a chance to choose a prize is sometimes all it takes to get them to be still for just one more important moment.

Also, the child life department at Children's offers distractions through art and crafts projects and many other programs. Each time we've waited to have Connor's appointments or treatments at the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders they have been there. Child Life has allowed Connor another distraction that is so important to children & us parents who may be too stressed to do more than just be there. Another beautiful way to support the children who go through so much at this fabulous hospital, is by donating a red wagon. Connor has ridden in a red wagon each time he's been in for surgery. These red wagons give the kids a way to get out & about when they are too weak to walk very far.
