Gift Card Shopping - Part II

Has the suspense been killing you?!?!?!?!!? Well, Connor did some serious shopping with his gift card from Aunt Ruth & Uncle Randy. He weighed his options and even remembered to add in tax.

His many ideas were:
1. An electronic weather station with outdoor sensor
2. Another web cam - this would make 5 in his collection
3. A white WebKinz wolf - this would have left him $15 more dollars for shopping
4. 2 pillowpets - he would somehow have to come up with tax to finish paying for these
5. A car and bedroom for his Zhu Zhu pet
6. Live fish and Tank
7. Spy Gear camera watch

There were many many other considerations BUT the above 7 choices received the most thorough of thought.

In the end, he decided to buy fish. He really really wanted a puffer fish and fiddler crab. After previewing the fish options at Walmart, we came home to further investigate the needs of said fish. What we found, to our dismay, was that even though Walmart is selling these as fresh water pets, they will not live unless you actually keep them in brackish water. Well, well, well. Try explaining that to a determined 7 year old. ahhhhhh! At least, it was a good time to explore the differences in underwater habitats.

So, Connor now has a perfect 1.5 gallon freshwater tank. He managed to buy a complete tank kit and fish with his money - this kid is a super bargain hunter! His underwater community consists of 6 tetras and one 'sucker' fish. He is broadcasting live vie the web on his wireless IP camera from Santa.
