Plarn, what is it???

Plarn is a new word that means plastic yarn. It is made from plastic shopping bags from places like Walmart, Kroger, or Barnes and Noble. I am going to attempt to make this newfangled crochet material. I have no delusions of cutesie patterns or precious creations. I simply want to make a usable water bottle sling that won't care if it gets wet. I've seen people carrying these & I found all sort of patterns online so, as soon as I get "geared" up, I'll attempt one & report back!
