A few weeks ago, we were visiting family out close to San Antonio. It was such a nice visit. We were able to attend our aunt & uncle 50th anniversary party, visit with my mom-in-law, hug up my newest baby nephew and visit the Alamo!
The downer about the trip is that I dropped my beloved camera & crushed the lens. I could go into woeful details but I'll just say, I dropped it & it doesn't work. I took said precious camera to the shop today & the lens is repairable!!!!!!!!!!!....................For about $85 Dang! The guy actually suggested I take my $85 and put it towards a new lens. I'm thinking on that one :0) BUT for now, I don't have my camera. I have a sad substitute! Man, how did I manage before the days of digital? Of course, it was just a different world then AND I didn't yet have the most precious photogenic children. This issue will be rectified and my camera snappin' days will return. Until then, practice saying 'cheese'!!!!

Oh, I'm sorry to hear about your camera!! I was cleaning out my closet the other day and noticed that I still have my non-digital camera with film in it. I am planning on getting it developed after all of these years to see what's on it. I know what you mean though, I don't know how we got along without a digital. They save so much money in the long run with being able to see the picture right away. I hope you can get yours fixed soon!!
