Connor had a piece of art work in this year's VAV Art Show. All visual students in GISD are encouraged to participate & this was Con's first year. It was a great event.
We attended a art showing, an awards ceremony & a reception. Connor was so excited. He won an award and $5! His visual teacher, Mrs Wilson, and his orientation & mobility person, Mrs Thompson, were in attendance. This is a picture of Connor with Mrs Wilson. He adores her!
Connor entered his art from school but, he says next year he's going to do something special for this art show. The art work from the visual students was just amazing.
Some of it was very tactile, some was computer graphics, others included electrical parts, but it was all impressive.
