Happy Birthday to me!

So......my 21st birthday was November 28th. Yes, I am 21 again! When did I get old enough to say that????? Ok, so I'm really 36. I had a really great birthday this year. A lot of times I get slighted because my bday falls on or close to Thanksgiving. This year I found out that I really don't care. My birthday isn't a holiday & people do care even if they don't make a big deal out of it. Connor was home and we were free of the hospital & that was more of a birthday present than you can imagine. I would have been totally satisfied with just that.

Then, we went to Thanksgiving dinner w/my O'Brien family & they had a bday pumpkin pie for me & Jess. My niece has a Nov 21st bday & so we get to celebrate together some years - I am blessed to have such a sweet niece who doesn't feel slighted sharing the spotlight with me.




































Then on my bday we had Thanksgiving dinner with my Benson family. My mom made me the best bday cake ever!!!! Yum! Yum! My brother & his family gave me a cool lighted fountain. I put the fountain in my bedroom & it is so cool - I have enjoyed it so much already. Then, Cayden gave me a lovie just like his. He is so sweet. He makes sure that I have my lovie at bedtime. I never knew I needed a lovie :0)




































To top it all off, the cherry on the sundae, the icing on the cake..............my hubby got me a NEW CAMERA!!!!!! Dang, it is so sweet!!!!! The Nikon D40 - I just can't stop taking pictures. I seriously need a lesson on manual focusing, shutter speed, f stops, etc...... Here are some of the fabulous but superfluous pics I took the first day.
