Staying at home

There are so many things that are wonderful about staying at home with your kids. During the holiday seasons there are so many crafts you can do and activities you can be a part of. We try to do something fun & holiday related each day. We've already baked cookies, made Christmas cards, painted ornaments, wrote letters to Santa, picked up tons of Christmas library books, seen Santa, made hot cocoa several times (not the instant kind either), decorated the tree together, and much much more!





My sis-in-law loaned me some books that are full of great ideas! The books are a crack-up though, they are from the 80's and the outifts are a hoot. The moms that put these together had WAY to much time on their hands! I can barely get one of the crafts done, feed the kids, keep them dressed, and play a bit, much less put together every darn craft, keep the kids happy, dolled up for pictures and get a book together for printing. Wow! They must have had some serious help!




We put together the Santa Countdown & they boys are lovin' it! Of course, every day they still ask "How long until Christmas?"
