Yeah! School started today for Connor & Cayden. Cayden woke up at 6:30 - he popped right out of bed and said "Everyone, get up!" Connor woke up shortly after - he was weepy and asking if he could come home if he felt he couldn't make it all day. These guys crack me up! The are seriously, as different as day & night.
Michael and I took them off to school.
After the general gathering in the cafateria for the national anthem, a moment of silence, the pledge of allegience and honoring the Texas flag we took the boys off to their classes. Both guys had already met their teachers & exploed their classrooms at Friday evening 'meet and greet' so they knew just where to go.
By 8:15 we had said goodbye and left them at school. Success!!!!! Now, hopefully, I won't receive a call from Connor stating the he 'just can't make it through the rest of the day' LOL

Those are the most precious, amazing little guys. That school and those teachers are soooo lucky to have them at their school. No prejudice here....I'm just sayin'.
OMGosh, I can't imagine what that must be like! The first day of school, the school smell, pledge of allegiance, hours home alone...
I hope they had a fun first day of school and I hope Connor made it through the day...LOL!! :)
