He entered the contest at the end of the last school year & only knew that his entry had progressed to the state level competition.
I'll try to find the file with his photo entry and post that so you can check it out too. He is one awesome photographer. He took four different pictures, 2 full grown oak trees, an acorn and an oak seedling then made a collage bordered in green. The theme was "One hundred years from now..." So, Connor titled his "trees will be trees" He wrote about the unchanging nature of trees and how in 100 years they will continue to provide us with oxygen. I love that kid!
