Space - the final frontier

We recently visited NASA in Houston. The boys and us parents had an absolutely fabulous and educational time! The Space Center has so many fun things to do.

We spent lots of time in the mock navigation areas, driving the Mars Rover, and in the mock space shuttle preparing for various missions.

One of the best things was the tram over to the actual NASA campus! We visited mission control - very cool stuff! We also visited one of the training areas and saw the robot they are planing to take to the international space station.

Another super cool bonus was Rocket Park. There was a complete Saturn Rocket in a hangar & we could explore it. The boys thought this was very very cool.

Back at the Space Center, there were Lego robotics to build & both boys could have spent all day right there.

Of course, Michael & I got in on some of the fun too! I took a turn in the weightless space seat.

Then we both took turns playing astronaut. An awesome time was had by all!
