Don't be a litterbug!

One of the greatest lessons we can teach our kids is to take care of our planet.  How can you accomplish this?  How can you get it to really stick with them?  Have them spend a few hours picking up other people's trash!  That's what we do. 

Every time we are a part of a 'trash pick up' event my kiddos ask "Why Do people litter?"  I love this!  We've cemented it. 

Its a part of who they are.  The don't even think about dropping packages on the ground or throwing trash out the car window. 

Job done!  We can definitely pat ourselves on the back for this one!
