Citrus trees

Michael has been growing lime and orange trees for a few years.  Last year we actually had a few mini limes.  It was exciting times around our house!

This year, the trees are in full bloom.  The orange blossoms smell heavenly.

I only wish I could bring the tree inside & capture the scent.  I can imagine my sofa being infused with the heavenly sweet aroma.

Each time I would sit down, I would be surrounded.  Well, apparently these trees are fragile & fickle.  So I won't be moving them.  I'll be walking over to the very back corner of our yard, every day, just to take a whiff.

I've seen these trees bloom before and I sure hope they're not faking us out this time.  I'm hoping for a plentiful fruit crop. If you look real close, right below the bloom, you can see a small green ball.  That little ball is what should turn out to be a lime or orange, depending on which tree.  I'll let you know how it turns out!
