Mom

My mom passed away at 3:15am this past Sunday, May 26th.  My brother, myself, my aunt, my cousin, my sister-in-law, and my husband were all with her when she left.  It was one of the toughest things I have ever experienced.  Right before she left us, she opened her beautiful blue eyes for one last look at us & this world, then her eyes closed and she took her last breath.  While I will never see her again in this world, I will one day be blessed to join her in heaven.

 I am very sad for our family's loss, especially for my boys who had such a wonderful relationship with their Nana.  I am happy though for my Mom's gain.  She is with her son Ricky, her sister Marie, her mom, my step-father Jerry, grandson Shawn, cousin Mary Ruth, Aunt Lola and many many others.  She must have had quite the welcome party!  I also know that she is so happy to be able to spend time with our Lord.  What a blessing to know that she is healed perfect.

John 14:1-4 “Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. And you know the way to where I am going.”
