I am not generally a series reader so this new found love has astounded me. I'm currently reading book #5 Anne's House of Dreams and am still loving every word. I've not stopped and picked up another book in between - I've been faithful to the series and even think I might read them a second time. Reading a book a second time is an unheard of proposition for me - that just goes to show how much I love these books. As the story unfolds, I can see beautiful scenes in my mind. Her writing touches me & makes me long for a trip back in time.

This is one of my favorite series!! I have read them all several times. I'm not sure which ones are my favorites, but I have read "Rainbow Valley" and "Rilla of Ingleside" the most I think, just because I have all three movies and those books come after the movies with her kids.
