May is NF Awareness Month

May is NF Awareness month. Sharing the below in honor of my precious 8 yr old:
Ever wonder why I can't hear? Puzzled by my crooked sneer? Truly I am smiling at you and listening with my eyes and heart so dear! I stumble, fall, and sometimes tremble at the knees but oh no I AM FAR FROM WEAK! This funny word called Neurofibromatosis, NF2 for short, can really wreak! It has damaged and taken many things from me - hearing, eyesight, balance, facial function but still my spirit remains strong! I WILL persevere and keep moving on! In honor of May NF Awareness Month, please follow me to see how I am winning over this ravaging disease. Help us to help others struggling with NF by sharing. :)
